Who We Are

Kikaaya Youth Empowerment Group (KYEG) is a legally recognized Community-Based Organization (CBO) with an aim to empower youth both male & female aged 12+ with emphasis on adolescent girls & young women, vulnerable groups like refugees and people with disability within Kampala City. KYEG provides holistic, inclusive, and empowering solutions to promote personal and community transformation through our supportive system of economic empowerment, education access, health awareness and environmental conservation youth to overcome poverty, poor education, unemployment, health risks and other challenges.

Mission: To improve the quality of life of young people through positive youth development in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Vision: To create vibrant and prosperous communities where young people actively participate in the decisions that affect their everyday lives in order to become positive agents of change.

Goal: To develop programs for increased learning and growth to help youth, adolescent girls, and young women build self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-awareness as they pursue their dreams.
